Student Ambassadors

STUDENT AMBASSADORS are a group of Yr11 students who go through an application and interview process and represent the Values and Expectations of Cockburn students. Students work to the code as listed below:

The Code
Student Ambassadors are Cockburn’s principal representatives of its values and expectations. Cockburn looks to the Student Ambassadors to set an example both to other Yr11 students and to other members of the school as a whole. When fulfilling their various roles around the school they should treat younger students in a firm but fair manner. In return, younger students should treat Student Ambassadors with politeness and respect.

Student Ambassadors are be expected to:

• Meet regularly with the Headteacher to discuss and feedback their views
• Attend school events such as performances, Open Evening, New Intake Evening, etc
• Be available to meet and greet visitors and conduct tours of the school
• Play a significant role in Cockburn's journey "Transformation to Excellence"
